Let me start with the beautiful adoption shower our church held for us. We have some very talented people in our church. They held it at a local Chinese restaurant. It was wonderful.
It was a jungle theme. Cute, huh?
Izzy loves the blow up animals. There were 5 of them and they all made it home to my living room. Did you know that the monkey can fly when he's hung on a ceiling fan by an older sibling?

Other summer milestones:
She moved from her crib to a toddler bed.
This day she was too tired to find her bed, but at least she had a guardian angel!
Then apparently, she graduated from her bed to mine. (Don't judge based on the unmade bed. It gets made on a rare occasion. I'm working on it!)
She celebrated her first 4th of July!
Learning to buckle
Drinking all by herself! That's huge considering she was on a bottle when we got her and didn't even try to help hold it when I fed her.
Loves baths! They scared her when we got her.
Being silly. This is her favorite thing to do, make crazy faces!
Playing with my biggest bro
Littlest big brother played baseball. Go Yankees! Finished 2nd in the tournament.
Slave labor! Not really. They were all 3 awesome help tearing out the kitchen floor.
Roasting marshmallows, one of our favorite summer passtimes.
Our summer is officially over since we've started school already, but that doesn't mean we are going to stop enjoying the weather. Summers in SD are wonderful!
Just curious why you started school so early? Does that mean you get more breaks? Or that you get out of school earlier next spring or is it something like yr. Round school? Always thot yr round school would be a good thing--after my kids were no longer in school to make their schedule meet mine. With home school it would be much easier.
