The biggest change in the last month was that she had her palate repaired. Here's what it looks like pre-surgery:
The PA was so kind to take a photo from his phone and send it to us. We wanted one to show her some day, but couldn't hardly catch a peek. She didn't want anyone looking in her mouth:) The picture was my one pre-surgery request. Unfortunately, we didn't have them take a post-surgery picture before they woke her up. The only time we can catch a glimpse is when she's really upset.
We took her in for her 3 month check-up yesterday and our doctor says it looks great! We're so glad that's over! She was a tad grumpy the last 3 weeks. Being on a liquid diet left her very hungry. Everyone knows that a hungry baby is a grumpy baby.
Here are a few other pictures to show you what she's up to:
Road trip to Sioux Falls for surgery with her sister.
Playing in the pool the night before surgery. This was the first time she really enjoyed the pool.
Getting ready for surgery. They put me in a bunny suit so I could go clear to the OR with her. What a blessing I was able to be with her until she was asleep.
Playing with her sister. We love that laugh!
Playing with a Barney vacuum, thanks to my sister. How we love the Barney clean up song. Do you sense the sarcasm in this statement? (Thanks, Kim, love you!)
Those tears started when we walking through the front door of the clinic and she cried/fussed the whole time we were there. She tried to be brave but knows the needles hurt and that they always appear at some point while we're in that building. The minute we exited the building she started smiling. How smart she is!
Our little brainiac! She found her brother's glasses on the table and thought they'd make her look smarter:) She doesn't need the glasses, she is honestly one smart cookie!

What a blessing :) So sweet!
